About CEB
Welcome to Golden State Lawyer, presented by CEB to provide California attorneys with timely, topical, legal updates. Every day, we publish articles by practicing attorneys across the state who are experts in their field, so you can easily stay up-to-date with the latest news, strategy, and developments in your practice area.
CEB is a self-supporting nonprofit program of the University of California, founded in 1947 to educate veterans returning to the practice of law after service in World War II. Today, CEB offers the best legal research, practical guidance, and MCLE solutions for California attorneys looking for the nuanced, state-specific depth of coverage they need to help their clients.
CEB also seeks to improve access to justice and the delivery of legal services to underserved communities in California by educating attorneys and law students in human-centered lawyering skills, and by promoting inclusivity in the California legal industry.
